You can attend a session from any safe, private location.
If someone else is in the room it will affect the process, sometimes having someone in the next room has an impact too. Consider using a sound machine for more privacy.
Please silence your phone. If you're using your phone for the therapy session then please ensure "do not disturb" is on.
Headphones provide more privacy, there is less feedback, and you are able to hear more clearly.
A therapy session looking at a phone screen will be effective but your eyes will feel more comfortable looking at a bigger image. Consider using a tablet or laptop.
Make sure family members are not streaming to ensure you have enough bandwidth.
If you and your therapist are disconnected, reconnect on your end. If you are not able to reconnect, call your therapist. The closer you are to your router, the better.
Have a pen and notebook ready to take notes and record therapeutic homework assignments.
