My counseling approach is Existential. This theory can help to overcome adversity, examine fears, and inspire purpose. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)/Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) therapy and other approaches to help individuals understand cognitions and their origin. I also use Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to encourage healing. I believe in empowering my clients through counseling and psycho-education.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have years of experience helping my clients to work through various types of trauma.
As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), I am also interested in how your physical well-being (sleep/wake patterns, nutrition, etc.) impacts your mental and emotional health.
